The provincial NDP questions how effective the SaskParty government’s plan for reducing greenhouse gas emissions is.
Environment critic David Forbes says there is little progress on wind and solar energy projects and greenhouse gas emissions are on the rise.
He contends the provincial government is leaving this province vulnerable to the whims of the federal government.
Environment minister Dustin Duncan says the province’s plan of electrical generation will reduce greenhouse gases by 40 percent by 2030.
As well, he says the province will be rolling out performance standards on a sector by sector basis over the coming months. (CKRM)
