The move to the National Job Bank and shutting down of the SaskJobs website didn’t last long. All of the Saskatchewan information was moved to the federal website and SaskJobs was shut down at the beginning of this month, but Trade Minister Jeremy Harrison says it is back up and running. During Question Period on Wednesday he explained that there were concerns raised about challenges with being able to adapt to the new system for both businesses and job seekers, because it wasn’t very user-friendly. The provincial website will be maintained for the next 6 months while there is a transition to the National Job Bank. (CKRM)
