At 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Greenall High School and Balgonie Elementary School remained in a hold and secure mode after comments made online earlier in the day towards the High School and/or the students.
White Butte RCMP say the comments were vague, but serious enough that they warranted the schools be secured while the investigation continues.
The RCMP and the Regina Police Service which has been assisting, say most of the information they were getting was coming through third and even fourth parties and through social media so tracking down a source or exactly what was said has been challenging.
Student safety is the top priority for police and the Prairie Valley School Board.
