Saskatoon Police arrested a 31 year old man who they say was in possession of drugs, knives, and a loaded, homemade firearm. Around 4:30 Thursday afternoon, police were told of a man with a firearm on the 900 block of Avenue N South. They found him about 20 minutes later on the 700 block of Weldon Avenue. He’s in court today (fri) facing three counts each of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
Avenue S South
Saskatoon Police say a 15 year old boy is facing numerous firearms related charges in Saskatoon court today (frid) after they got a call about someone with a gun, in a park, in the 200 block of Avenue S South. The call came in around 8:30 last night and police arrested the 15 year old without incident. A loaded, sawed off .22 rifle was seized. The teen has been charged with firearms offences that include possessing a firearm without a license, carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
