Regina Police are investigating an incident where it’s reported that an 18 year old man was walking down the street when a vehicle approached, a male got out and shot the 18 year old. It happened early Monday morning in the area of 8th Avenue and Cameron Street. The victim made it home on foot where a family member took him to hospital. His injuries are said to be not life-threatening. Around 10:15 that morning, police received a report of a vehicle pulling up in from of a house where the passenger pointed a firearm at the house and then drove away. The vehicle matched the description of the one in the earlier incident. Police found the vehicle and seized it. Four suspects initially got away but police were able to track them down and make an arrest. A 15 year old is facing about 20 charges including Attempted Murder, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and various other firearms charges. 19 year old Kashtin Quewezance of Regina is charged with drug possession. A 17 year old boy is charged with drug possession, and a 15 year old boy is charged with weapons and drug possession.
