Canada has kept pace with Korea atop Pool E of the World Mixed Doubles Championship in Sweden.
Kirk Muyres of Humboldt and Laura Crocker of Edmonton whipped the Czech Republic 9-3 to join the Koreans with 5-0 records. The loss was the first in four outings for the Czechs. The Canadian duo plays Germany at midnight, Saskatchewan time or 8 o’clock Wednesday morning in Sweden. As for Sherry Anderson’s Saskatoon-Nutana squad in the World Senior Women’s competition, they are not in action until 8 o’clock Wednesday morning, Saskatchewan Time, when 5-0 Canada plays the host Swedes. Anderson’s quartet leads Pool A.
