Prairieland Park is opening the door to an easier entrance and exit for those attending events at its Main Trade Centre building.
Construction and expansion of the exterior main foyer and lobby space is now underway for the $1.4-million project.
CEO Mark Regier says right now, people can be lined up outside when the weather is not ideal because there isn’t enough space before the ticket area.
He explains that the exterior around the front entrance will get an updated look and the expansion will move outwards for a glassed in foyer area.
It’s expected the work will be done by mid-July and Regier stresses it needs to be done before the Exhibition, which is August 7th to 12th.
For the next few months, those entering Halls A,B,C or D may have to be re-routed to a different entrance while construction continues.
