The Rush have added to their win column yet again after a 20-10 victory over the Vancouver Stealth in Langley, B.C. After giving up the first goal of the game, the Rush netted a franchise-record nine consecutive goals. Mark Matthews, Robert Church, Ben McIntosh, Ryan Keenan, Jeff Shattler and Marty Dinsdale all combined for 19 goals and 28 assists in the win which improves the Rush season record to 13-3. Matthews, who leads the NLL in points and assists put up 10 points last night with 3 goals and 7 assists which gives Matthews a fourth straight season of 100 or more points. Robert Church also finished the night with a significant amount of points, recording 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points. The Rush also got support on defense from goalie Adam Shute, who made his first career NLL start. Shute made 33 saves to help the Rush pick up the win. Saskatchewan is back home tonight as they host the reigning Champion’s Cup champs, the Georgia Swarm. Tonight’s broadcast begins with the Rush Hour Pre-Game Show on 98 Cool starting at 6:30 with ball drop at 7:30.
