That snowfall we had, put 14 sanders in motion overnight [wed] giving drivers some traction on Priority 1 streets as well as at slippery intersections city-wide. Drivers are reminded that ice in shaded areas such as under overpasses, may remain slippery all day. Otherwise, drivers should be looking out for pooling water on roadways caused by meltwater. And just to add to the aggravation, the city says excess moisture and freezing temperatures may also create new potholes.
