Not once, but twice, Saskatoon Police were called to hotels about weapons left in rooms. Around 2:30 Monday afternoon, officers attended a hotel on the 100 block of Circle Drive. Staff had found a .22 calibre rifle and ammunition in one of the rooms. The guest had already checked out but, officers were able to determine the identity of a suspect. Then, around 12 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, staff at a hotel on the 21 hundred block of Northridge Drive found a pellet gun in a room; same description of a suspect. Around midnight last night (tues/wed) a patrol officer located a suspect vehicle on Circle Drive, stopped it on Preston Avenue, and the suspect, a 28 year old woman, was arrested. Ammunition, a pellet gun, and alcohol were found in the vehicle. The woman is facing nine weapons related charges and a charge of Breaching Probation. There were also warrants out for her arrest.
