Synergy 8 Community Builders and ENS Auto announce Retief Goosen will be at the Willows Aug. 28 to headline the fundraiser for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The money raised at the annual golf tournament will go toward the purchase of cardiac equipment needed for the frog ponds.
Other celebrity golfers will include Edmonton Oilers goalie Cam Talbot and Saskatoon-based defenseman Eric Gryba. Following is the news release from the Synergy 8 Community Builders…

“Drive for Kids Campaign 2018”
Saskatoon Sask, March 29th, 2018 – Synergy 8 Community Builders and ENS Auto are proud to announce that two-time US Open Champion and current PGA tour player, Retief Goosen has agreed to headline the 2018 Drive for Kids Campaign event. Joining Retief this year is CBS Golf analyst Gary McCord, Fox Sports analyst Holly Sonders, and from the Edmonton Oilers goalie Cam Talbot, and Saskatoon born and raised defencemen Eric Gryba.
“We are celebrating 10 years of hosting this event in Saskatoon and wanted to make this year a special one”, states Troy Davies, Synergy 8 Board Member. “We have partnered with Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation to purchase the cardiac equipment needed for the frog pods in the new Children’s Hospital opening later this year”.
Helping Synergy 8 achieve this goal this year is the “CP Has Heart” program that is overseen by CP Rail who have agreed to be a matching sponsor for dollars raised from this Campaign.
